BOELUBE® is among the trademarks owned by BOEING. These products represent a family of proprietary
lubricants developed through Boeing manufacturing operations and lubricant experience. The Orelube
Corporation holds an exclusive worldwide license from Boeing Management Company to manufacture and
market the BOELUBE® series of lubricants.
BOELUBE® fights friction at the interface of the
cutting edge and work piece. The reduction of friction at these surfaces minimises heat generation
and concurrent chip weld. Tools retain their cutting edge longer, leading to closer tolerances and
prime chip yield. BOELUBE® is available in:
The choice of which physical form to use will depend on the operation, material type, speeds and feed rates.
Manufactured from personal care ingredients, BOELUBE® is non-toxic, non-irritating and environmentally safe. MSDS Material Safety Data Sheets are available on all the BOELUBE® Products. A handy link to these is located on each of the different product pages. BOELUBE® is non-corrosive, non-flammable, chemically stable, and free of halogens, heavy metals, sulphur, phosphorus, silicone, petroleum and paraffin wax.
Applications include Abrasive Belts, Bending, Cold Working, Deburring, Drilling,
Drop Hammer, Forming, Grinding, Milling, Punching, Reaming, Routing, Sawing and Tapping.

High Efficiency Lubrication - High lubricity and unique polar properties are the keys to its ability to provide superior metalworking lubrication. The application of minute amounts of BOELUBE® , which is consumed in the metalworking process, will greatly improve tool life , surface finish and hole quality. BOELUBE® provides superior lubricity when machining materials such as aluminium and titanium where high quality finish and increases of 200% or more in tool life is observed. Cost savings are derived through longer tool life, increased productivity, reduced lubricant usage, lower shop maintenance costs, and clean chips, parts and machinery.
Advantages - BOELUBE® will not promote dermatitis and presents a safe effective
method for operators to machine various types of metal, composites, graphite, etc. without
special handling or typical disposal problems.
BOELUBE® is easily removed with water-based
cleaner, isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol. In most cases BOELUBE® does not have to be
removed prior to heat treat, and may be compatible with paints and sealants (testing is
recommended and should be performed). BOELUBE® may also be left on the work piece for subsequent
machining or as a corrosion inhibitor .
Application - BOELUBE® is available in Liquid,
Paste, Solid and Water-Soluble form. Applications include Abrasive Belts, Bending, Cold Working,
Deburring, Drilling, Drop Hammer, Forming, Grinding, Milling, Punching, Reaming, Routing,
Sawing and Tapping. The choice of which physical form to use will depend on the operation,
material type, speeds and feed rates.
BOELUBE®70104
forms part of a series of proprietary lubricants
developed through Boeing manufacturing operations and
lubricant experience. BOELUBE® liquid, in combination
with air, keeps tools cool and removes chips. Spray or
one shot applications leave a minimal amount of BOELUBE®
Liquid that can be left on the work piece for subsequent
machining or as a corrosion inhibitor. BOELUBE® does not
contain Silicone, Sulphur, Halogens (such as Chlorine),
Phosphorus, Paraffin Wax, Petroleum or Heavy Metals.
BOELUBE® is recommended for use with machining
Aluminium, Titanium, Inconel, Stainless Steel, Graphite,
Composites, Honeycomb, Kevlar, Wood, Ferrous and
Non-Ferrous Metals. BOELUBE® provides superior lubricity
when machining materials such as Aluminium and Titanium
resulting in high quality finish while extending tool
life by 200% or more. Boelube applications include Cold
Working - Deburring - Drilling - Drop Hammer - Forming -
Grinding - Milling - Oil Hole Tools - Punching - Reaming
- Routing - Tapping - Thread Cutting.
Just insert the Non-Rotating Bit into the opening at the top of the lubricator and withdraw. The rolled carpet in the Hand Held Lubricator has acted as a chip wipe and lubricated the drill, tap or reamer.
The HHL 70104 is designed to accommodate tools up to 1/4 inch in diameter. It is not unusual to drill a substantial number of holes before having to re-lubricate the drill. Being only 3 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches in diameter, the HHL easily fits in a pocket or tool box.
BOELUBE® 90 will remain in a fully liquid state at temperatures as low as -20 F.
BOELUBE® Pastes provide excellent lubricity and are extremely cost effective in single point work such as Tapping, Drilling and Reaming. A small amount of Paste applied to the tool is all that is required to obtain a high quality finish and extended tool life with little or no clean-up required. Brush it on or dip tool in paste.
BOELUBE® pastes are also ideal for Forming and Bending as well as in Drop Hammer, Verson Press and Spin Forming applications.
BOELUBE® Pastes provide closer tolerance parts and extended diaphragm and die life.

For the majority of Paste
applications BOELUBE® 70307 (Medium) is
primarily recommended.
They provide a cost effective means of producing a high quality finish in a multitude of applications such as:
BOELUBE® Solids improve tool life by reducing heat build-up in belt, disc or wheel grinding operations.
Apply the push-up tube to the tool before start up.
Individual
